The Newell Advocacy Group was founded by Dr. Willie Newell as a charitable non-profit corporation in the State of Washington by the secretary of state on May 13, 2014.
The Newell Advocacy Group is a federally tax-exempt public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) as of May 13, 2014.
Mission & Purpose
The purpose of the Newell Advocacy Group charitable organization is to address the educational, vocational, and socioeconomic needs of underprivileged communities.
Dr. Newell envisions the organization providing a solution to unemployment by equipping potential entrepreneurs with the resources needed to start a business through a free community-based business incubator program.
Community Engagement
The Newell Advocacy Group enables community members to participate in mentoring, facilitating, coaching, and program operations through volunteer opportunities. Upon completion of the program, potential entrepreneurs are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and resources to successfully manage and operate their own business enterprises.
